Iteration and Governance

This document is a living standard. As the technology landscape evolves and as the Open Home Foundation's operational requirements change, these standards will be continually reviewed, modified, and iterated upon by the Infrastructure (INFRA) Working Group.

Changes will be communicated and governed through a standard proposal process to ensure alignment with the foundation's strategic goals and operational realities.

However, the foundation's core technologies will remain unchanged unless there is a significant, formally approved mandate to do so, as altering them would defeat the purpose of maintaining a stable and coherent standard.
